Form No 30043 Ordinance No..........~Q.-Q.~ Passed AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO PARCELS OF LAND OWNED BY PARKS-FEIDNER, INC., LOCATED ALONG WOERNER-TEMPLE ROAD, CITY OF DUBLIN, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, a goal of the Dublin City Council is to continue to acquire land for parkland purposes; and WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement to purchase a 3.26 acre, more or less, tract of land for parkland purposes for $260,000.00; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned objectives will require the City of Dublin to obtain a fee simple interest in the 3.26 acre, more or less, premises located at 5745 Avery Road, in the City of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio, as described in the attached Exhibits "A" and "B". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, of the City of Dublin, state of Ohio, of the elected members concumng that: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement to Purchase and any necessary closing documents related to the acquisition of the 3.26 acre, more or less, tract of land and paying any related costs. Section 2. .There has been appropriated from the Parkland Acquisition Fund Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($260,000.00) to account 402-0210-780- 2510, for the purchase of acquiring the 3.26 acre, more or less, tract of land and paying any related acquisition costs. Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare. Therefore, this ordinance shall go into immediate effect.
