AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN
1.458 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF LAND, FROM
BLANCHE M. NORRIS AND JAMES W. NORRIS, LOCATED
SOUTH OF WOERNER-TEMPLE ROAD, CITY OF DUBLIN,
COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, a goal of the Dublin City Council is to continue to acquire land for
parkland purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement to purchase a 1.458 acre, more
or less, tract of land for parkland purposes for $195,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned objectives will require the City of Dublin to obtain
a fee simple interest in the 1.458 acre, more or less, premises located south of Woerner
Temple Road, in the City of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio, as depicted on the attached
Exhibit "A".
NOW, THERE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, of the City of Dublin,
state of Ohio, of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement to
Purchase and any necessary closing documents related to the acquisition of the 1.458
acre, more or less, tract of land and paying any related costs.

Section 2. There has been appropriated from the Parkland Acquisition Fund One
i••• Hundred Ninety Five Thousand Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($195,000.00) to account
402-0210-780-2510, for the purchase of acquiring the 1.458 acre, more or less, tract of
land and paying any related acquisition costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary to
protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Dublin, and therefore shall
take effect upon passage
