AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS
ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1994
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY i

WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary, amendments to the
- annual appropriations ordinance to be made in order that appropriations are not over
expended; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate the unencumbered balances in various capital
improvement funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the Tuller
Road Improvement Fund the amount of $16,861.61 to account 42-03-14-2551.
Section 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the Facility
Acquisition Fund the amount of $9,397.41 to account 45-03-14-2349.
Section 3. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the Muirfield
Drive Improvement Fund the amount of $319.93 to account 46-03-14-2349.
Section 4. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the Dublin
Justice Center Fund the amount of $7,418.09. Of the total, $3,000 is to be
appropriated to account 47-03-14-2520 and $4,418.09 is to be appropriated to
account 47-03-14-2530.
,.,.. Section 5. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the
Transportation Improvement Fund the amount of $23,620 to account 49-03-14-2551.

Section 6. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the State
Route 161 Improvements Fund the amount of $139,767.12 to account 52-03-14-
2510.
Section 7. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of the
residents of this City, and therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.

SUBJECT: Amendments to Annual Appropriations Ordinance

INITIATED BY: Marsha I. Grigsby, Director of Finance .~
Ordinance 46-94 is needed to appropriate funds for the identified capital improvement
projects. The request for each fund will appropriate the unencumbered balance
remaining in that fund. The additional appropriations will make those unencumbered
funds available for the specific projects and/or available to transfer to the General Fund
or the General Obligation Bond Retirement Fund, as appropriate, after all project costs
have been paid.
We are requesting this ordinance be passed as an emergency in order to provide the
funding needed for the projects and in several instances (i.e. Dublin Justice Center and
S.R. 161 Improvements) to finalize project costs. The Department of Law is requesting
that we expedite the appropriation for the State Route 161 Improvements project to
finalize the amounts owed for temporary and permanent easements.
