AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF A 0.079 ACRE TRACT TO THE EDWIN J. SEGNER TRUST
"....
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Dublin finds that the City
-- of Dublin is the owner in fee simple of a 0.079 acre tract;
WHEREAS, the 0.079 acre tract is inaccessible to the City of
Dublin because of a change in the course of Indian Run Creek;
WHEREAS, the 0.079 acre tract is located in a floodway and as
a consequence, no structures may be erected thereon; and
WHEREAS, the 0.079 acre tract serves no purpose for the City
of Dublin due to its small size, inaccessibility and location
in a floodway.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of
Dublin, state of Ohio, -J of the elected members
concurring:
section 1. The City Manager of the City of Dublin, state
of Ohio, is directed to convey to the Edwin J. Segner Trust
the following described property:
Being situated in the state of Ohio, County of Franklin,
in the Village of DUblin, located in Virginia Military
r- Survey No. 2999, and being part of a 105.126 acre tract
conveyed to Hemingway Development Co. in Official Record
L- 04750 G19, and also being part of Reserve A of Hemingway
Village West Section 2 as delineated and recorded in Plat
Book 63, Page 38, Franklin County Recorder's records and
being more particularly described as follows;
Beginning for reference at an iron pin
found in the centerline of Post Road at
the southwest corner of a 1.807 acre
tract conveyed to Edwin J. and M.O.
Segner in Official Record 07544 G05, and
at the southeast corner of a 2.607 acre
tract conveyed to C.T. and D.P. Cline in
Official Records 00005 A05, 02831 D07,
and 08320 H04 Franklin County Recorder's
records;
thence North 03024'42" West 190.74 feet,
along the west line of said 1.807 acre
tract and the east line of said 2.607
acre tract, to an iron pin found at the
northwest corner of said 1.807 acre tract
and being the southwest corner of said
Reserve A;
r thence North 74028'18" East 91.80 feet,
~ along the north line of said 1.807 acre
tract and a southerly line of said
Reserve A, to an iron found in the north
fork of Indian Run at the PRINCIPAL PLACE
OF BEGINNING of the herein described
0.079 acre tract;
thence North 87018'18" East 98.15 feet,
across said Reserve A, to an iron pin
set, at a corner common to said Reserve A
and 1.807 acre tract;

SUBJECT: Maps for Ord. 42-94, Segner land transfer
Please find attached two maps for your use regarding the Segner land transfer, as requested by
Ordinance 42-94. The first map delineates the extent of the floodway. As shown, nearly all of
the 0.079 acre site falls within the floodway. Floodway is property that is ineligible for grading,
filling, building, or being otherwise occupied under local and federal regulation. The second
map is for locational purposes. It shows a partial street layout of the Hemingway and
Hemingway West subdivisions which are located to the north of the site.
