AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2
(WAGE , SALARY STRUCTURE/ADMINIS-
,..... TRATION) AND SECTION 12 ( EXEMPT ,
NON-EXEMPT JOB CLASSIFICATIONS) OF
ORDINANCE NO. 23-93 (COMPENSATION I
..... PLAN) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Council has determined upon the recommendation
of the city Manager, that certain sections of Ordinance
No. 23-93 ("compensation Plan") should be amended; and, I
WHEREAS, Council believes said amendments will enable the
ci ty to attract, recruit, and retain highly qualified
personnel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Dublin, state of Ohio, ~ of the elected members
concurring:
section 1. That Section 2. (WAGE & SALARY STRUCTURE/
ADMINISTRATION), subsection A. of Ordinance No. 23-93 is
hereby amended by changing the existing Permit Technician I
classification title and pay grade under the "Building
Regulation" functional grouping to the following:
Classification Pay Grade

, section 2. That Section 12 ("Exempt and Non-Exempt Job

classifications"), subsection A. of Ordinance No. 23-93
is hereby amended by including the following
classification title under the following exempt
categorical heading referenced therein:
Administrative
permit Coordinator
section 3. That section 12 ("Exempt and Non-Exempt Job
classifications"), subsection B. of Ordinance No. 23-93
is hereby amended by deleting the Permit Technician
classification title from the listing of Non-Exempt
classifications referenced therein.
section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be
an emergency measure for the preservation of the public I
welfare and for further reason that the above referenced I
amendments are essential to enhancing the efficiency and
effectiveness with which the Department of Development
provides services to developers, contractor, builders,
",... architects, and residents who are critically dependent on
f such services.
