AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN UPPER
SCIOTO WEST INTERCEPTOR SEWER (USWI) FUND, ADVANCING FUNDS
FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TAX FUND TO THE USWI FUND
".... AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS.
...... WHEREAS, the City of Dublin and the City of Columbus are jointly involved in
the design and construction of the USWI project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is pursuing funding from the Ohio EPA Water
Pollution Control Loan Fund; and
WHEREAS, design of the project, including the City of Dublin's portion, is
almost complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, -, of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That there be established the Upper Scioto West Interceptor Sewer
Fund to provide accountability for the loan funds to be received from the Ohio
EPA.
Section 2. That there be advanced from the Capital Improvements Tax Fund
the amount of $1,225,000 to the USWI Fund for the purpose of project design
costs. This advance is to be reimbursed to the Capital Improvements Tax Fund
from the loan to be received from the Ohio EPA Water Pollution Control Loan
Fund.

Section 3. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the
- USWI Fund the amount of $1,225,000 for design of the project.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the earliest
date permitted by law.
