AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST BID
FOR ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES
FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE RECENTLY
r- ACQUIRED 5800 BUILDING
\- AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY I
WHEREAS, after advertising, receiving and opening bids on November lS.., 1993, for
the electrical contractor services required as part of the renovation of the City's recently
acquired building located at 5800 Shier-Rings Road; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the lowest and best bid for said project is from
Romanoff in the amount of $ 35,014.00 ; and
WHEREAS, the City's lease for space occupied by the Department of Development at
5131 Post Road has expired and the monthly lease extension is levied at a premium rate
and expires December 31, 1993; and;
WHEREAS, the Division of Maintenance, Bureau of Parks Maintenance, is in great
need of space to house and maintain equipment and consolidate its temporary office
facilities into a central location;
NOW, TH-LRE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, of the elected members concurring:

Section 1, That the bid from ROffi:lTIoff in the amount of $35,014.00 to
....... renovate the City-owned building located at 5800 Shier-Rings Road is accepted,
Section 2. That the City Manager and Finance Director be, and hereby are, authorized
and directed to execute a contract with Romanoff for completion of said
project pursuant to the bid specifications and documents on file in the office of the
Department of Development.
Section 3, That this Ordinance be, and hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure
due to the fact that the City is currently paying a premium for rental space at 5131 Post
Road, and that the lease extension provided for said space expires on December 31,
1993, and to preserve the public health, safety and welfare and, therefore, this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage,
