AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID
FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
"".... TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH AETNA BUILDING MAINTENANCE
FOR SAID SERVICES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
......
WHEREAS, Dublin City Council approved Ordinance 62-93,
amending the annual appropriations ordinance in order to
provide for janitorial services; and
WHEREAS, bids for janitorial services were accepted on August I
20, 1993 and Aetna Building Maintenance has been determined to I
be the lowest and best bid for the city.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of
Dublin, state of Ohio, , J:) of the elected members
concurring:
section 1. That the bid for janitorial services submitted
by Aetna Building Maintenance in the amount of $55,566.36 is
hereby accepted.
section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contractual agreement with Aetna
Building Maintenance for janitorial services as defined and
described in the specifications for bid from October 1, 1993
to October 1, 1994, with an option to extend the contract for
....... one additional year (through October 1, 1995) upon mutual
agreement of the parties.

section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public
health, safety and welfare of the residents of this city, and
therefore shall take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
