AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF FEE
SIMPLE INTEREST IN APPROXIMA TEL Y 6.24 ACRES
IMPROVED WITH A 32,802 i SQUARE FOOT BUILDING

FUNDS THEREFOR AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY I
1.-
WHEREAS, the City desires to acquire the 6.24 acres and the 32,802 square
foot building located at 5774 Shier Rings Road; and,
WHEREAS, Romanoff Electric Corporation, the owner of the aforementioned
6.24 acres and 32,802 square foot building, has agreed to sell this property to I
the City; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate additional funds for the purchase of
the land and building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a real estate
purchase agreement and any other necessary closing documents related to the
acquisition of the 6.24 acres and 32,802 square foot building owned by
Romanoff Electric Corporation.
Section 2. That the consideration to be paid for the property is One Million Six
,... Hundred, Seventy Five Thousand Dollars ($1,675,000).
-- Section 3. That there be appropriated, from the unappropriated balance in the
General Fund, the amount of Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000) to
account 01-02-15-2723 for the purpose of transferring funds to the Facility
Acquisition Fund.
Section 4. That there be appropriated, from the unappropriated balance in the
Facility Acquisition Fund, the amount of One Million Nine Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($1,900,000) to account 44-03-14-2530 for the acquisition of the
aforementioned real estate and necessary improvements thereto. The source
of funding for this appropriation is the above requested transfer from the
General Fund and the issuance of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) in short-
term notes.
Section 5. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of
the residents of this City, and therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be
in force immediately upon its passage.
