AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE A FEE SIMPLE INTEREST
IN A .352 + 1- ACRE TRACT OWNED BY JAMES EDWIN AND TERESA ANN SHEETS
LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF WILCOX ROAD, IN THE CITY OF DUBLIN,
~~ APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
4Jt"", "4 WHEREAS, the City of Dublin, in the future, plans to relocate the existing Rings Road
to align with the existing Woerner-Temple Road; and
WHEREAS, said improvement will require the City of Dublin to obtain a fee simple
interest in the property described in the attached Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations to provide sufficient
funding to obtain the fee simple interest.
NOW'lHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, _ of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. A fee simple interest in the property located in the City of Dublin and more
fully described in the attached Exhibit A, is hereby appropriated for the public purpose
of relocating Rings Road.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a real estate
purchase agreement and any necessary closing documents related to the acquisition
of the .352 + 1- acre tract.
Section 3. That there be appropriated, from the unappropriated balance in the Capital
Improvements Tax Fund, the amount of $69,825 for the purpose of acquiring the .352
- + /- acre tract, including the purchase price and other related expenses.
-- Section 4. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of the
residents of this City, and therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
