AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN ADVANCE FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO THE SAFETY SOLUTIONS TAX INCREMENT FINANCING FUND.
APPROPRIATING FUNDS. AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS. the City of Dublin entered into a tax increment financing agreement with
~ Safety Solutions, Inc. in order to induce them to relocate to the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS. in order to fulfill the City's inducement obligation to complete the project.
it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations to provide sufficient funding for the
project.
NOW. TH~EFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the city of Dublin. State of
Ohio, of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That there be advanced from the General Fund the amount of $24,500 to
the Safety Solutions Tax Increment Financing Fund for the purpose of extending
Shamrock Court and the sanitary sewer improvements as required by the tax increment
financing agreement. This advance is to be reimbursed to the General Fund from the
service payments in lieu of taxes that will be received from the Franklin County
Auditor.
Section 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the Safety
Solutions Tax Increment Financing Fund the amount of $24.500 to account 54-03-14-
2551 for construction costs related to the project.
Section 3. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of the
residents of this City, and therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
- immediately upon its passage.
