AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1994

.... WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary, amendments to the
annual appropriations ordinance to be made in order that appropriations are not over
expended; and
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with the Columbus F.C. Xoggz
professional soccer team to provide funding for seating and other related items
necessary for hosting soccer games; and
WHEREAS, the City agreed to charge the above expenditures to the Hotel/Motel Tax
Fund utilizing appropriations that had been previously approved for anticipated
expenditures for City-sponsored events; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations to provide the necessary
funding for the approved City-sponsored events.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, 2-. of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the
Hotel/Motel Tax Fund the amount of $26,000 to account 17-01-13-2349 to replace
the appropriations used to fund the commitments agreed to in the agreement with
Columbus F.C. Xoggz.
"..... Section 2. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of the
-- residents of this City, and therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
