AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS I
ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, I
,...... 1992, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary,
"- amendments to the annual appropriations ordinance be made in
order that appropriations are not over-expended; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate additional funds to
allow for unanticipated expenditures; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate additional funds for
the Sports Leagues account under the Division of Parks and
Recreation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT O~AINED by the Council of the City of
Dublin, State of Ohio, . of the elected members concurring:
Section 1- That there be appropriated from the
unappropriated balance in the Parks and Recreation Fund the
amount of $12,000 to account 13-07-13-2842 for the purpose of
continued Autumn Programs.

preservation of the public peace, health or welfare of the

-- of Parks and Recreation make it difficult to predict the
level of participation each year. The Division strives
to meet the demands for sports leagues by the Dublin
community while operating those leagues with a fee
structure that makes them nearly 100% reimbursable.
Demand to date has utilized the budgeted $30,000.00 while
generating revenues of $36,350.00. We request an
allocation of $12,000.00 for the Sports Leagues Account
13-07-13-2842. Requested funds will be for leagues
expected to generate over $20,000.00 in revenues during
the remainder of 1992.
