AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A MEMBER
TO THB CHILD CARE ADVISORY COMMITTEE,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

...... WHEREAS, appointments are required to fill vacancies on
various Boards, Commissions, and Committees of the City of
DUblin, Ohio.
BOW, THEREFORB BE IT ORDAINEDG,bY the Council of the City of
DUblin, state of Ohio, of the elected members
concurring:
Section 1. That Rita D. Dryden is hereby appointed as a child
care professional representative to the Child Care Advisorv
Committee to serve in the unexpired term of Shirley Place, a
term which expires on December 31, 1996.
section 2. That the above-named person shall serve as a
member in this capaci ty until a successor is appointed or
until death, resignation, or removal for cause as determined
by City Council.
section 3. That the member herein appointed shall serve
without compensation.
Section 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
.. declared to be an emergency measure for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, and for further reason
that the position must be filled for the reason of continuity,
... and therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force immediately upon its passage.
