AR ORDIRAHCB ACCBPTIBG THB LOWBST AND BBST
BID FOR TURJ' GRASS SBBD, AND DBCLARIBG AR EMBRGBBCY.
~ WHEREAS, after advertising and receiving bids on April 24,
1995 for turf grass seed, Council has determined that the bid
- submitted by Scotts Company in the amount of $13,225.00 is the
lowest and best bid.
BOW, THERBFORB BB IT ORDAIBBD by the Council of the City of
Dublin,. state of Ohio, ~ of the elected members
concurrl.ng:
Section 1. That the bid submitted by Scotts Company in the
amount of $13,225.00 for turf grass seed is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the city Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Scotts Company for purchase of this
product as specified within the said bid proposal and the
City'S bid documents on file in the Division of Parks
Maintenance.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency
necessary to preserve the public health, safety and welfare,
and for the further reason that the turf grass seeding project
may then be initiated in early spring.

Bids for Turf Grass Seed an approved 1995 CIP, were opened Monday, April 24, 1995
at 3:00 p.m. Bids were based on 11,500 lbs. of seed.
Five bids were received:
1), George Hill & Co. $1.97/lb. - $22,655.00
2). Scotts Company $1.15/lb. - $13,225.00

4). Ohio Seed Company opt. #1 $1.93/lb. - $22, 195.00
