AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 929.06(b)
OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES ESTABUSlDNG
THE CAPACITY CHARGES FOR THE WATER SYSTEM
1fIil''''''' WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has a contract with the City of Columbus for water
services; and

WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is responsible for the cost of operation and maintenance
of the system as well as related capital improvements; and
WHEREAS, the user fees and capacity charges were amended on April 20, 1992 to
provide adequate funds for operating and capital expenses of the water system; and
WHEREAS, the amendments to the capacity charges that were adopted April 20, 1992
did not include tap diameters in excess of six (6) inches; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the capacity charges to include tap diameters in
excess of six (6) inches; and
WHEREAS, the other subsections of Section 929.06 will remain the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 elected members concurring:
Section 1. That Section 929.06(b) of the Codified Ordinances is amended to include
capacity charges for permits issued for taps in excess of six (6) inches in diameter as
follows:
