AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 40-91, et.al., \ ESTABLISHING THE LOCATION AND AMOUNT OF CASH ON HAND, r-- AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY -..- WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 39-85 established cash funds for various departments; and, WHEREAS, business transactions occur in a variety of locations which require cash on hand to complete the transaction and minimize the inconvenience; and, I WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish a petty cash fund for Mayor'S Court for the purpose of providing dinner to prisoners appearing in Mayor'S Court during their regular meal time; and, . WHEREAS, the limit per prisoner will be $4.00 and i accountability of the fund will be the responsibility of the Mayor'S Court staff. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIN!Q by the Council of the city of Dublin, state of Ohio, I of the elected members concurring: section 1. That there be established a petty cash fund in the amount of $20.00 which will be maintained by Mayor'S Court for r. the purpose of providing dinner to prisoners appearing in . Mayor'S Court during their regular meal time. ~ section 2. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of the residents of this city, and therefore, this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. ' ORDINANCE NO. 101-92 AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT IN THE CITY OF VILLAGE PARKWAY FROM SAWMILL ROAD TO TULLER ROAD, BANKER DRIVE FROM SAWMILL ROAD TO DUBLIN CENTER DRIVE, DUBLIN CENTER DRIVE FROM WEST DUBLIN- GRANVILLE ROAD TO SAWMILL ROAD, AND TULLER ROAD FROM ri DUBLIN CENTER DRIVE TO VILLAGE PARKWAY BY INSTALLING STREET LIGHTING AND ACQUIRING REAL ESTATE OR INTERESTS IN "- REAL ESTATE THEREFOR, TOGETHER WITH ALL NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the improvement described in Section 1 has been completed and the final cost of that improvement has been determined; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, Franklin, Union and Delaware Counties, Ohio, that: Section 1. The special assessments for the cost and expense of improving in the City Village Parkway from Sawmill Road to Tuller Road, Banker Drive from Sawmill Road to Dublin Center Drive, Dublin Center Drive from West Dublin-Granville Road to Sawmill Road, and Tuller Road from Dublin Center Drive to Village Parkway by install ing street lighting and acquiring real estate or interests in real estate therefor, together with all necessary appurtenances pursuant to Resolution No. 46-90 adopted September 17, 1990, amounting in the aggregate to $158,650.00, which were filed and are on file with the Clerk of Council, are adopted and confirmed. Those special assessments are levied and assessed upon the lots and lands provided for in Resolution No. 46-90 in the respective amounts set forth in the schedule of special assessments on file, which special assessments are in proportion to the special benefits and are not in excess of any statutory limitation. ,..., Section 2. This Counc il finds and determines that the special L assessments are in the same proportion to the estimated special assessments as the actual cost of the improvement is to the estimated cost of the improvement as originally filed. Section 3. The special assessment against each lot or parcel of land shall be payable in cash within 30 days after the passage of this ordinance, or at the option of the owner in fifteen annual installments with interest at the same rate or rates of interest as borne by any securities to be issued in anticipation of the collection of the special assessments. All cash payments shall be made to the Director of Finance of this City. All special assessments remaining unpaid at the expiration of those 30 days shall be certified by the Clerk of Council to the County Auditor as provided by law to be placed on the tax duplicate and collected as taxes are collected. Section 4. The Clerk of Council shall cause a notice of the passage of this ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in this City and shall keep on file in the office of the Clerk of Council the special assessments. Section 5. The Clerk of Council shall deliver a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor within 20 days after its passage. r Section 6. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were c..- taken in an open meeting of this Council and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in those formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law. Section 7. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety or welfare of this City and for the further reason that the levy of the . ~~__~".~~.~_~_~~~,u~... - . . , . special assessments may be immediately effective so that the notes issued in anticipation of that levy may be retired from securities to be issued in anticipation of the collection of these special assessments and thereby preserve the credit of the City; wherefore, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
