AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS
ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1992
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
,.... WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary, amendments to the
... annual appropriations ordinance be made in order that appropriations are not over
expended; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate additional funds to allow for
unanticipated expenditures; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate additional funds for the Tuller Road
project and the State Route 161 project.
NOW, THEI:FORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the city of Dublin, State of
Ohio, of the elected members concurring:

Section 1, That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the General
Fund the amount of $40,000 to account 01-04-10-2349 for the purpose of special legal
services,
Section 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the Tuller
Road Improvement Fund the amount of $1,250,000 for the purpose of making
improvements to Tuller Road, Of the total, $30,000 is to be appropriated to account 42-
- 03-14-2510 and $1,220,000 to account 42-03-14-2551.
- Section 3. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the General
Fund the amount of $1,475,000 to account 01-02-15-2719 for the purpose of transferring
funds to the State Route 161 Improvements Fund.
Section 4. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the State
Route 161 Improvements Fund the amount of $1,475,000, Of the total, $100,000 is to
be appropriated to account 52-03-14-2510 and $1,375,000 to account 52-03-14-2550,
Section S. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency
measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of the residents of the
City, and therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its
passage,

SUBJECT: Amendments to Annual Appropriations Ordinance
DATE: June 11, 1992
Ordinance 90-92 is needed to appropriate funds for expenditures that were
unanticipated at the time the annual appropriations ordinance was prepared
and to provjde funds for the Tuller Road and State 161 projects,
Section 1 appropriations additional funds to account 01-04-10-2349 for
increased expenditures for legal services, This account is used to fund legal
services required outside of the scope of the agreement with the Law Director
and for bond counsel services, Legal services obtained include the following
cases: Muirfield Drive appropriation, Tuller Road assessment, appropriation
of land for the State Route 161 project, federal discrimination case, the
Supreme Court case, and Davis vs City of Dublin,

projects.
