AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1109.02(e)
AND 1109.021(e) and (i) (USE OF FEE)
OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE
f' CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, it is Council's intention that all park and open
space fees collected be used exclusively for the acquisition
of recreational facility sites, open' space and/or parkland.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OR~NED by the Council of the City of
Dublin, state of Ohio, members concurring that:
section 1. section 1109.02(e) (Use of Fee) is hereby amended
as follows:
(e) Use of Fee. All fees shall be used solely for the
acquisition of recreational facility sites, open space
and/or parkland. None of the fees collected pursuant to
this section may be used for any other purpose including
but not limited to development, maintenance and operation
of such publicly owned recreational sites and facilities.
section 2. section 1109.021(e) (Use of Fee) is hereby amended
as follows:
(e) Use of Fee. All fees required to be paid by this

purposes from its general fund or other funds.
section 3. section 1109.021(i) is hereby deleted in its
entirety.
section 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, and therefore this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
