AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS
ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1996
r AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
~ WHEREAS, Section 5705.40 of the Ohio Revised Code allows for supplemental
appropriations to be made to an appropriation measure provided sufficient resources
are available, and
WHEREAS, an alignment study for Emerald Parkway was completed in November
1995, and
WHEREAS, additional information is needed to more accurately evaluate the effect
of the proposed Emerald Parkway alignment for the property owners on Jenmar
Court, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations ordinance to provide
funding to obtain the additional information. This includes obtaining appraisals and
necessary engineering related information to complete the appraisals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 1 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the Capital
r Improvements Tax Fund the amount of $37,500 to account 40-03-14-2550 to obtain
1 the additional information.

Section 2. That this Ordinance be and hereby is declared an emergency measure
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, welfare, and to
provide immediate funding to proceed with the appraisals, and therefore shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
