AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA HOUSING
,... COUNCIL, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, a Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council was established with the
creation of the Britton Parkway Community Reinvestment Area under Ordinance No.
130-94; and
WHEREAS, the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council shall make an annual
inspection of properties within an area for which an exemption has been granted under
Section 3735.67 of the Ohio Revised Code to ensure compliance that structures have been
maintained and meet standards; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Council shall also hear appeals as provided under Section
3735.70 of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, appointments are needed for the Community Reinvestment Area Housing
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, !:1- of the elected members concurring that:
.,,-.. Section 1. The Chairperson of the Finance Committee of Council and the Chairperson
of the Community Development Committee of Council are hereby appointed as City
,<4 Council representatives to the Housing Council.
Section 2. The Director of Development and the Director of Finance of the City of
Dublin are hereby confirmed as Mayor Kranstuber's appointments to the Housing
Council.
Section 3. The Vice Chairperson of Planning & Zoning Commission is hereby
confirmed as the Planning & Zoning Commission appointment to the Housing Council.
Section 4. Terms for the members appointed herein shall be for three years.
Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for
the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that appointments to the
Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council are necessary to comply with the
statutory provisions regarding Community Reinvestment Areas. This ordinance shall
therefore take effect and be in force immediately upon passage.
