AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING MEMBERS
TO THE VARIOUS BOARDS, COHHISSIONS,
AND COHHITTEES OF THE CITY OF
DUBLIN, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, appointments are required for various boards,
commissions, and committees of the city of Dublin, Ohio.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the city of
Dublin,. state of Ohio, ~ of the elected members
concurr1ng:
section 1. Architectural Review Board
That Carole Olshavsky is hereby re-appointed to a three-year
term.
section 2. Board of Zoning Appeals
That Timothy Lecklider is hereby appointed to a three-year
term, and Ruth Meeker Reiss is hereby appointed to the
unexpired term of Thomas McCash, a term which expires on
December 31, 1996.
section 3. Building Construction Appeals Board
That Michael Baker is hereby appointed to a three-year term;
Craig Yeack is hereby appointed to a two-year term; the term
of present member Peter Welin is hereby established as two
years; and the terms for present members Roger Berlin and
Grier Schaffer are hereby established as one year.

That Georgia Brown is hereby re-appointed to a two-year term
~~#til as business representative; Troy Brown is hereby appointed to
a two-year term as business representative; as recommended by
the superintendent, susie Kranstuber is hereby re-appointed to
a one-year term as Dublin Schools representative; Janis
Davidson is hereby re-appointed to a three-year term as
citizen representative; Maj Firouzian is hereby re-appointed
to a three-year term as child care professional
representative; and Helen Sedoris is hereby appointed to the
unexpired citizen representative term of Maj Firouzian, a term
which expires on December 31, 1996.
section 5. Dublin Convention & visitors Bureau representative
That Connie Cahill is hereby re-appointed to a two-year term
as Council representative.
section 6. Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee
That Kip Witchey, as recommended by the Superintendent of
Dublin Schools, is hereby re-appointed to a one-year term as
the Dublin Schools representative.
section 7. Personnel Board of Review
That Deborah Powell is hereby re-appointed to a three-year
term.

i...... That Joseph Harian is hereby appointed to a four-year term.
section 9. Delaware Regional Planning Commission

That Denise Franz King is hereby appointed to a two-year term
as the City of Dublin representative.

..,...., section 10. Solid Waste Advisory Committee
That Mary Lee Hahn, as recommended by the Superintendent of
Dublin Schools, is hereby re-appointed to a one-year term as
.. the Dublin Schools representative; and Michael Cook is hereby
appointed to a three-year term as citizen representative.
section 11. Tree & Landscape Advisory commission
That Bob Crewe is hereby appointed to the unexpired term of
Ruth Meeker Reiss, a term which expires on December 31, 1997;
Richard Ferguson is hereby appointed to a three-year term; and
Kathryn Epp is hereby re-appointed to a three-year term.
section 12. That the above-named persons shall serve as
members in their respective positions until their successors
are appointed or until death, resignation, or removal for
cause as determined by city council.
section 13. That members herein appointed shall serve without
compensation.
section 14. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, and for further reason
~ that these positions must be filled for the sake of
continuity, and therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect
__ and be in force immediately upon passage.
