AN ORDINANCE ADOYflNG A SCHEDULE OF FEES
""... FOR TIlE DUBLIN COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTER,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
-- WHEREAS, the City of Dublin will open the new Dublin Community Recreation Center in
1996; and
WHEREAS, construction of the Community Recreation Center, a capital investment of over
$12 million, is being financed by existing funds allocated from income tax revenues and
proceeds from the issuance of debt that will be retired over a twenty-year period with future
income tax revenues; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 14-93, Section 4 states that, "Council is desirous that user fees
for the facility established during the rate setting process are sufficient to provide for
substantial funding of the direct operating cost of the facility"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin recognizes its special relationship with the Dublin School
District through multiple cooperative ventures such as the community school concept and
shared school park developments.
NOW, TIlEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that:
"""'"" Section 1. The following categories of annual passholders shall be established:
....... City of Dublin residents
Dublin School District residents
Non-Residents - individuals who reside outside the City of Dublin corporate
limits and Dublin School District boundaries
Individuals who work full time within the City of Dublin
Senior Adults age 60 and older who reside in the City of Dublin
Senior Adults age 60 and older who reside within the Dublin School District
Senior Adults age 60 and older who reside outside the City of Dublin
corporate limits and Dublin School District boundaries
Section 2. The fees for annual passholders to the Community Recreation Center shall be as
follows:

...... Section 3. The following categories of daily pass users shall be established:

All other daily users
Section 4. The fees for daily pass users to the Community Recreation Center shall be as
follows:
Child (10 years and younger) Adult (11 years and older)
Resident with City I.D. $3.00 $4.00
All other daily users $5.00 $7.00
Section 5. The City Manager is hereby directed to develop the necessary policies and
procedures to implement and market the fee schedules adopted herein.
Section 6. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for
the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City, and further to allow for the
necessary public notification of the Dublin Community Recreation Center categories and
fees. Therefore, the ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon passage.
