AN ORDINANCE TO
CHANGE THE NAME OF WALL STREET
TO PERIMETER DRIVE
",.. IN THE CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO
...... WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is desirous in maintaining continuity of street names within the City
of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Auditor has brought to the City's attention that the existing right-
of-way located adjacent to the north side of the Justice Center had previously been dedicated with
the name Wall Street; and
WHEREAS, a new street has been constructed in the right-of-way located adjacent to the Justice
Center as an extension of Perimeter Drive, as indicated on the Thorofare Plan.
NOW, 1HEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by Coolril oftre City of Dublin, Slate of Ohio, 7 oftre elected
members concurring:
Section 1. That the name of Wall Street is hereby changed to Perimeter Drive.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be, and hereby is, directed to have the plat corrected to conform
to this change.
........ Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest
date permitted by law.

We need to have City Council adopt a street name change at its soonest possible convenience.
When we recorded the right-of-way dedication plat for the Perimeter Drive extension project, the
Franklin County Auditor's office brought to our attention that the existing right-of-way located
adjacent to the north side of the Justice Center had previously been dedicated with the name,
"Wall Street". Now, with our extension of Perimeter Drive, we need City Council to officially
change the name ofthe old right-of-way to "Perimeter Drive" to clear up the records. We will be
required to assemble an ordinance to accomplish the street name change. Please see the attached
excerpt from the recorded dedication plat indicating the location of the right-of-way in question,
and the plat note, which the Auditor required us to have placed on the plat.
