AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1997 AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

........ WHEREAS, Section 8.02(a) of the Dublin City Charter requires the City Manager
to prepare and submit the annual budget to City Council; and
WHEREAS, City Council has received and reviewed the annual budget for 1997;
and
WHEREAS, the Administration has incorporated in the attached 1997 Operating
Budget all modifications as requested by City Council as a result of the budget
review workshops.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. That the 1997 Annual Operating Budget attached as an Exhibit be, and
hereby is, approved.
Section 2. That this ordinance is declared to be an emergency necessary to protect
the health, safety and welfare of the residents of The City, and for the further reason
that the annual operating budget must be in effect by January 1, 1997. This
