I An Ordinance Amending The Annual Appropriations Ordinance For The
Fiscal Year Ending December 31,1996

I WHEREAS, Section 5705.40 ofthe Ohio Revised Code allows for supplemental
......,: appropriations to be made to an appropriation measure provided sufficient resources
are available, and
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary, amendments to the
annual appropriations ordinance be made in order that appropriations are not over
expended, and
WHEREAS, the HV AC system at the Municipal Building has not been functioning
properly, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to replace one ofthe existing
HV AC units, and
WHEREAS, this replacement of the HV AC unit was not anticipated and therefore
funds have not been appropriated to cover the costs of the replacement, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations to provide funding
for the replacement ofthe HV AC unit.
NOW, TH~REF~, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Co~cil of the City of Dublin,
.... State of OhIO,' of the elected members concumng that:
,'" Section 1. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the General
Fund the amount of$15,000 to account 01-06-11-2520 for the purpose of replacing
a HV AC unit at the Municipal Building.
Section 2. That it is necessary to waive public hearing of this Ordinance to replace
the HV AC unit immediately in order to properly cool the building.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force in accordance with
Section 4.04 (a) of the Dublin City Charter.
