AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE THE 16.5 FOOT WIDE
SECTION OF SELLS ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN
SOMMIT ALLEY AND FRANKLIN STREET

Re
WHEREAS, The portion of Sells Alley located between Summit
Alley and Franklin Street was to be vacated pursuant to Dublin
Village Ordinance 09-61 passed June 15, 1961; and
WHEREAS, this vacation ordinance was never forwarded to the
Franklin County Recorder's office; and
WHEREAS, the Dublin Community Church has brought this matter
to the City's attention and has requested that his matter be
corrected.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordai by the Council of the City of
Dublin, State of Ohio, of the members concurring
that:
Section 1. That the portion of Sells Alley located between
Summit Alley and Franklin Street is hereby vacated, subject to
the City retaining an easement as to any and all public
utilities which may be located therein.
Section 2. That the City Engineer is hereby instructed to
prepare a plat of the vacated alley and cause said plat to be
recorded at the office of the Franklin County Recorder.
Section 3. That the Clerk of Council is directed to notify
the auditor of Franklin County of the vacation, by forwarding
a copy of this Ordinance thereto.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be effective on the
earliest date permitted by law.
