Dublin, Ohio TO: Dublin City Council FROM: Tim Hansley, City Manager DATE: February 21, 1995 SUBJECT: Bid approval for Tuller Road SBA Tree Planting Grant REPORT COMPILED BY: Paula Chope, City Forester February 17, 1995 was the bid opening for Tuller Road street tree plantings. This project is part of the Small Business Grant sponsored by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Out of six bids submitted Zuber Landscaping came in at the lowest and best bid at a cost of $26,900. The estimated cost of the project was $26,250. Dublin's cash portion of the project is $6000 and was approved by Council under the Parks & Recreation operating budget. Zuber Landscaping has had previous landscaping experience with Dublin. The brick sidewalks and the planting of street trees in Old Dublin were the result of their efforts. The work was completed according to Dublin's high standards. Therefore, I am recommending that Council approves the acceptance of the bid by Zuber Landscape. c: Bid tally sheet --. w ~ " - , ... - 0 blbItU -\> ...'...' ....
