AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 06-88 ESTABLISHING THE
LOCATION AND AMOUNT OF CASH ON
HAND, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 39-85 established cash funds for various depart-
ments; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Court, the Building and Engineering Department, the
Finance Department and the Parks and Recreation Department require cash
on hand to conduct business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. Cash boxes to make change will be maintained in the Finance
Department for the purpose indicated as follows:
Mayor's Court Transactions $75.00
Program, Permit and Other $75.00
Miscellaneous Fees
Section 2. Cash boxes to make change will be maintained in the Building
and Engineer Department for the purpose indicated below:
Permit, License and Other $75.00
Fees
Section 3. Cash boxes to make change will be maintained at the Municipal
Pool, under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Department, for the
purpose as indicated below:
Concession Stand $75.00
Front Desk Area $75.00
Section 4. The Department Supervisor or his/her designee will be
responsible for maintaining these cash funds and depositing daily
receipts, as provided by State law.
Section 5. The above funds are to be used to make change only and not
for payment of petty cash items.
Section 6. There will be established a petty cash fund in the amount of
$200.00 which will be maintained in the Finance Department for the purpose
of reimbursing employees for out-of-pocket expenses under $20.00, per
Administrative Order.
Section 7. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency, in
order to preserve the public peace, health, and safety and, therefore,
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its
passage.
