Proposed building: Central Administration Building for Dublin Schools, + 25,000 sq.ft., two story. 2. The staff and Board of Education for the Dublin Schools have reviewed many sites for this building. The following list outlines the main reasons the Board made this selection. a. This is approximately the geographic center of the school district. b. The high school is Dublin's largest school facility and requires more contact with the central administrative staff. Closeness will facilitate traffic and school business. c. The School Board and planning committees are currently studying adding the ground north and east of this site for future high school requirements. d. The School Board currently owns this site. This will better utilize school resources and prevent additional lease space or purchase of more expensive ground already zoned Suburban Office (S.O.). e. Realizing this is not the desired zoning for the east side of Coffman Road or the area, and further, since it is to facilitate school operation, Dublin Schools would be willing to make the S.O. use conditional for a public building. This would help prevent further S.O. zoning in the area. . wr~_tpf"eM.Meey~ tear G~ O~a~O1J R • w i v+O - ~ BRAND u ~t++•~ ' 212 16y _ s a, 0.9)'2Ae. ~ 44t ~i r- c.4. c..
