AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAY-
MENT OF THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
~ ($30,000.00) TO THE DUBLIN
KIWANIS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
- RELATED TO THE RIVERVIEW PARK
(DUBLIN SPRING) PROJECT, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is in the process of developing a passive
park located at Bridge Street and west of Lower Street along the Scioto
River, known as Riverview Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Dublin Kiwanis is providing professional services including
engineering and architectural services along with a significant amount
of donated labor and materials; and
WHEREAS, the prompt development and completion of this park is vital to
the welfare of the citizens of Dublin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City Manager and/or Finance Director is hereby authorized
to pay up to $30,000.00 to Dublin Kiwanis, as billed, for project
materials, and professional services related to the development of the
Riverview Park (Dublin Spring) project, said funds having been previously
allocated within the capital improvements budget.
Section 2. ,
This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency necessary for
the preservation of the public welfare and shall take effect and be in
force immediately upon passage.
