AMENDING SECTION 1515.08 OF THE
CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE
OF DUBLIN, OHIO - FIRE PREVENTION
CODE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring
that:
Section 1. That the permit fee schedule in Section 1515.08 of the
Dublin Codified Ordinances be amended, as follows, said Section
being a listing of permits which must be obtained annually and
the fees therefore paid to the Washington Township Fire Department,
before the construction, servicing, operation, installation,
storage, transportation, handling, use or occupancy of any of the
items as listed.
A. That the $20.00 permit fee for sprinkler systems be deleted.
B. That a permit fee of $20.00 be added for controlled open burning.

Dear Ms. Prushing:
I would respectfully request that the proper legislation be drawn up
to amend Part 15 of the Codified Ordinances of Dublin pertaining to
the fire prevention code.
I am requesting that the permit fee schedule in Article 1515.08
be amended as follows:
1) Delete the $20.00 permit for sprinkler systems. This fee
essentially charges an individual for the fire protection
they have built into their structure. A fee Is already
charged for the plans examination by the building depart-
ment prior to the installation of fire suppression systems.
2) Add a permit fee of $20.00 for controlled tpen burning. I
am requesting this change to cover the costs involved when
a permit of this type is issued. These costs include two
triplicate forms, a form copied to E.P.A. and the adminis-
trative costs of secretarial, filing and record keeping.
