AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING NANETTE J.
PRUSHING ACTING VILLAGE MANAGER,
ESTABLISHING A TEMPORARY SALARY
THEREFORE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Village Manager, Sherman Sheldon, has resigned from his
position, and
WHEREAS, Council recognizes that a vacancy in this position creates an
emergency situation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 5.03 of the Charter, Nanette J. Prushing,
the Finance Director, is hereby appointed as Acting Village Manager.
Section 2. During her tenure as Acting Village Manager, her annual
salary shall be increased to $42,000.00, as compensation for the
additional duties and responsibilities she will be assuming.
Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the
Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason that until a new manager is
appointed, the Village Administration will not be able to carry out the
usual daily operation of the municipal departments unless an Acting
Manager is appointed.
The effective date of this Ordinance is February 9, 1987 .
