AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A BID FOR TRAFFIC
SIGNAL AND ROADWORK ON BRIDGE STREET AT
CORBIN'S MILL AND SHAWAl~ FALLS DRIVE,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, bids have been received fOT traffic signal and road work to be
perforEl.ed on Bridge Street at Corbin's Hill and Shawan Falls Drive; and
WHEREAS, the lowest/best bid is from Strawser Pavine Co;npany in the amount
of $130,650.75;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by Council of the ViI lase of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the bid of $130,650.75 from Strawser Paving Cowpany be, and
hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to enter
into a con>c::.:-act with said finil fo;~ said tj~affic 8:Lsnal and road vlO:d~.
SECTIOI~ 3. That::hin O:.:-dinance be, and the same he:;:-e by is, declaj~ed to be
an eclergency ueasure necessary for the public health, safety and welfare
and for the further j~eason that this project should be initiated as soon as
possible and therefore this ordinance shall ta~e effect and be in force
iLlilediately upon i":s passage.

DATE: January 7, 1987
Bids were received on January 6, 1987 for the Traffic Signal
and Road work on Bridge Street at Corbin's Mill and Shawan
Falls Dirve and, said bids were as follows:
Company Bid
S.E. Johnson Co. - Delaware, Ohio $137,333.79
Strawser Paving Company $130,650.75
I would suggest that Council accept the bid of Strawser Paving
Company in the amount of $130,650.75 and enact the Ordinance
as an emergency so that work can commence at the earliest
possible date.
