AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A SCOPE OF SERVICES INCLUDING THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, BIDDING DOCUMENTS,
ETC. FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT METRO
PLACE NORTH AND FRANTZ ROAD AND AT BLAZER MEMORIAL PARKWAY
AND FRANTZ ROAD.
WHEREAS, proposals have been received from engineering firms to perform
the required scope of services and;
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a recommendation regarding a
firm to perform the scope of services, and;
WHEREAS, Ordinance No: 31-86 requires that Council approve design
cost quotations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the quotation of Clyde E. Williams & Associates
for the scope of services required for the installation of traffic
signals at Metro Place North and Frantz Roa~ a~d a& Blazer Memorial
Parkway and Frantz Road in the amount of $ 1, 00. 0 be, and
hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance
in the General Fund the sum of $11,700.00 to account AOl-06-6A-2550
to cover the cost of the scope of services related to these traffic
signals.
Section 3. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to enter into a contract with said firm for these services.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.

RE: Engineering Quotes for Traffic Signals
Ordinance No: 57-86
Engineering proposals were received on Monday July 28, 1986 for an Engineering
Study and Traffic Signal Plans for the installation of traffic signals at
Frantz Road and Blazer Memorial Parkway and at Frantz Road and Metro Place
North.
Attached hereto please find a sheet reflecting all the quotations received, the
project definition and the Scope of Services defined.
Some definite economy can be realized if both intersections are designed
under one plan set and I can think of no obvious reason that this could
not be done.
Therefore I would recommend that Council accept the quotation of Clyde E.
Williams and Associates in the amount of $11,700.00 and enact the legislation
on an emergency basis so the engineering for this project could be initiated
as soon as possible.
