036-86 Ordinance - RECORD OF ORDINANCES - ~ National Graphics Corp., COls., O. ~ Form No. 2806-A Ordinance No.____ __J6_~8_6____ Passed _________ .____mJ9__u AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1109.02 (c), (d) and (f) (PARK FEE) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO. WHEREAS, Section 1109.02(c)(6) (Park Fee) no longer accurately reflects the estimated average value of land per acre within the Village of Dublin. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 members concurring that: Section 2. Section 1109.02(c) (Park Fee) is hereby amended as follows: (c) Park Fee. Should both previous options be deemed inappropriate or infeasible, the Municipality may request an applicant to pay a park fee in lieu of land dedication. The per-unit fee will be collected at the time final plat approval is requested and shall be based on the total number of units contained within the final plat as determined by using the following formula. (1) Total site gross acreage (2 ) Required land donation: (1) x .02 (3) Total number of dwelling units (4) Required land donation: (3) K .03 (5) Total land donation: (2 ) + (4) (6) Estimated average value of land per acre shall be established every two years by resolution of Council based upon the recommenda- tion of a qualified land appraiser retained by the Village to research recent real estate transactions and provide Council with a suggested price per acre for raw land within the Village. (7) Value of land donation: (6) x (5) (8) Per unit park fee: (7) divided by (3) Section 3. Section 1198.02(d), (Residential Dwelling Units which are not constructed as Part of a Planned Unit Development or Subdivision) is hereby amended to increase the calculated fee maximum contained therein from two hundred seventy-five dollars ($275.00) to five hundred dollars ($500.00) per residential dwelling unit, regardless of total acreage involved.
