AN ORDINANCE AUTHOaIZING THE PURCHASE
OF APPROXIMATELY 2.4 ACRES OF LAND
FROM THE MARANANTHA BAPTIST CHURCH
LOCATED JUST NORTH OF THE SCIOTO
BRIDGE ON U.S. 33, ON THE EAST SIDE
OF THE SCIOTO RIVER.
\.JHEREAS , the Maranantha Baptist Church has offered to sell said
property to the Village of Dublin, Ohio for Parks and Recrea-
tion purposes, and:
WHEREAS, the Dublin Village Council is of the opinion that said
land should be purchased;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the Village Manager and the Finance Director
be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a
contract with the Maranantha Baptist Church for the purchase of
said land in the sum of $5,000.00.
SECTION 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated
funds in the General Fund, the sum of $5,000.00 to the account
A 01-03-3B-2510 to meet the obligations of this purchase.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
