AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A BID FOR
FLEET INSURANCE FOR ALL VEHICLES
OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN,
OHIO: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, after seeking quotations from a number of insurance
firms for Comprehensive Fleet Insurance including, Liability,
Vehicle Damage, Medical and Uninsured Motorist Coverage, and;
WHEREAS, the lowest/best bid is from the - . Pl..c
Insurance Agency Company in the amount of ~,550.00
for the coverage from April 26, 1986 to April 26. 1987
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village
of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members con-
curring:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Security Plus Insurance Agency for
the period April 26, 1986 to April 26. 1987 be, and
hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized to enter into a contract with said firm for said
insurance coverage.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public
peace, health and safety and for the further reason that the
current coverages will expire on April 26, 1986 and therefore
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately
upon its passage.

RE: Fleet Insurance
DATE: April 14, 1986
Although we sent specifications to a large number of Insurance
Companies seeking quotations for our Fleet Insurance Coverage,
we received only one quotation.
This quotation was from the same Agent/Company that has
submitted the lowest quotation in 1984 and 1985 also.
The quotation is from Security Plus Insurance Agency and the
agent is Mr. Frank Hornik. I t,.,lould recommend that we do as
suggested by Hr. Hornik and on the Vechicle Physical Damage
Insurance, carry a $100.00 deductible on the Comprehensive and
carry a $250.00 deductible on the Collision portion. If
Council concurs, the quotation would be for $8,550.00 for a
one year period. Since the current policy expires on April
26, 1986 I respectfully request that this Ordinance be adopted
as emerpencv legislation.

Due to the significant increase over last year I suggest increasing
the deductibles to ~;100 on comprehensive and &250 on collision. This

The Village of Dublin, Ohio is soliciting quotes for
liability, etc., insurance coverage on its vehicle fleet.
Said coverage should be quoted to take effect on April 26,
1986 and expire one (1) year hence. All quotes shall be
submitted in writing to the Village Manager, Dublin Municipal
Building, 6665 Coffman Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017 no later than
