AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT: AND DECLARING AN EMER- GENCY. WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids have been received for the sale to the Village of a Rotary Riding Mower for the Parks and Recreation Department and; WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Century Equip- ment Company in the amount of $ $6,895.00 is the lowest/ best bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin. State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring: -- SECTION 1. That the bid of Century Equiament Company for the sale to the Village of a new Rotary Ri ing Mower for the Parks and Recreation Department in accordance with specifications presently on file in the office of the Parks and Recreation Director be, and hereby is, accepted. SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a con- tract with said Century Equipment Company for the purchase of said Rotary Mower. SECTION 3. I would concur with the recommendation that Janet Jordan, Park and Recreation Director, and tv1r. Hahn submitted to me (hereto attached) concerning this purchase and, would respectfully request that Council approve the purchase of the Toro Groundmaster 217D from Century Equipment Company in the amount of $6,895.00.
