AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE A 20
FOOT WIDE ALLEY CONTIGUOUS
AND WEST OF LOTS 150, 151,
AND 152 OF THE TOWN PIAT OF
DUBLIN AND EXTENDING NORTH
FROM DARBY STREET FOR A
DISTANCE OF 181.50 FEET, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, to facilitate the proposed library expansion said alley should
be vacated;
WHEREAS, said alley is not improved and serves no use to the public as
a roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio 1 of the elected members concurring:
Section I. That the above described alley (jUS4 west of the existing
Dublin Library) is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That this Ordinance be, and hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of public
I
peace, health and safety and for the building of an expanded Library
facility in the City of Dublin; therefore, thi~ Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
