WHEREAS, after required advertising, bids have been received for aggregatel base for the improvement of Avery Road and construction of streets interna~ to the Perimeter Mall development; and WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Northwood Stone and Asphalt in the amount of $111,894.00 is the lowest and best bid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring: Section 1. That the bid of Northwood Stone and Asphalt for aggregate base for the improvement of Avery Road and construction of streets internal to the Perimeter Mall development be, and hereby is, accepted. Section 2. That the City Manager and Finance Director be, and hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with the said Northwood Stone and Asphalt Company for the construction of said improve- ments. Section 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediatley upon its passage. Hansley, City Manager SUBJECT: Authorization of City Manager to Enter into Contracts DATE: October 31, 1989 . The City of Dublin has entered into a cooperative agreement with Planned Communities et al and Riverside Hospital for the improvement of Avery Road and construction of streets internal to the Perimeter Mall development. Dublin's ,-- obligation under that agreement is to furnish certain construction materials. Toward that commitment, bids were opened on Friday, October 20, 1989 to furnish concrete, stone base and asphaltic concrete FOB the job site. The tabulation of bids received are shown on the attached sheets. The best bid for each material is also the lowest bid.
