AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST
AND BEST BID FOR ASPHALT FOR THE
F""
IMPROVEMENT OF AVERY ROAD AND
CONSTRUCTION OF STREETS INTERNAL
TO THE PERIMETER MALL DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, after required advertising, bids have been received for asphalt
for the improvement of Avery Road and construction of streets internal
to the Perimeter Mall development; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of S. E. Johnson, Inc. in the
amount of $589,093.50 is the lowest and best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid of S. E. Johnson, Inc. for asphaltic concrete for
the improvement of AVery Road and construction of streets internal to the
Perimeter Mall development be, and hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager and Finance Director be, and hereby
are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with the said S. E.
Johnson Company, Inc. for the construction of said improvements.
Section 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to
be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safety and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force immediatley upon its passage.
