Form No. 30043 , Ordinance No. _T!~e,~-mn- Passed_m__ u_un _______ ____________J9_,_____ AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST BID FOR THE I EARLINGTON AND STONEFIELD PARK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, I AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, pursuant to the required advertising, bids have been received and were opened on Wednesday, August 16, 1989 for the Earlington and I Stonefield Park Improvements Project; and, I WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Columbus Asphalt Paving, Inc. in the amount of $275,981.00 is the lowest/best bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring: I Section 1. That the bid of Columbus Asphalt Paving Inc. for said project in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the Parks and Recreation Director be, and hereby is, accepted. Section 2. That the Manager and Finance Director be, and hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with the said Columbus Asphalt Paving Inc. in the amount of $275,981.00 for the Earlington and Stonefield Park Improvements Project. Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public peace, health and safety and for the further reason that said improvements are currently needed, and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
