AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TWO NEW
POSITIONS (POLICE RADIO DISPATCHERS)
WITHIN THE DIVISION OF POLICE, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, Council believes that the need exists for two new Police Radio
Dispatcher positions within the Division of Police; and,
WHEREAS, Council believes that said positions are necessary to enhance
the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Division of Police;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That two new Police Radio Dispatcher positions within the
Division of Police are hereby authorized.
Section 2. That an amendment to the appropriations shall be submitted
at the time the aforementioned positions are filled and the annual wage
and benefit costs have been determined.
Section 3. That this Ordinance be, and hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public health,
safety and welfare, and for further reason that the selection process
for said positions need to be initiated immediately; therefore, this
~ Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
