AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 16-89, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIA-
TIONS ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR
1989, AND DELCARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary, amendments to
the Appropriations Ordinance in order that appropriations are not over-
expended; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate additional funds to allow for
unanticipated expenditures; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate funds to provide for the transfer
of money to close two construction funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance
in the GENERAL FUND the sum of $10,500.00 under Other Expenses for Lands
and Buildings to allow for expenditures necessary to repair the property
at 27 and 29 South High Street.
Section 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in
the Police/Safety Fund the sum of $28,000.00 under Other Expenses to
provide for the additional costs to provide contractual communication
services for the first five months of 1989, additional costs to lease
space for the Police Department, and the purchase of a copier at the
Police Department.
Section 3. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in
Avery Water Tank Construction Fund the sum of $192,847.46 to account
D08-07-7T-2710 for Transfer to the General Obligation Debt Service Fund,
and thereby close this construction fund.
Section 4. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in
the Swimming Pool Construction Fund the sum of $65,342.00 to account
D09-07-7T-2710 for Transfer to the General Obligation Debt Service Fund,
and thereby close this construction fund.
Section 5. That this Ordinance be, and it hereby is, declared to be an
emergency necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and
welfare, and that this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
