AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE
LOWEST/BEST BID FOR FRANTZ
ROAD WIDENING, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MANAGER
AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the required advertising, bids have been received
and opened on June 9, 1989 for the Frantz Road Widening; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Nickolas A. Savko and
Sons in the amount of $453,721.95 is the lowest/best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid of Nickolas A. Savko and Sons for said program
in accordance with specifications on file in the Office of the Engineer
be, and hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That the Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby
are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with the said
Nickolas A. Savko and Sons for said Frantz Road widening.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure
necessary for the public peace, health and safety and for the further
reason that said improvements are currently needed and therefore this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its
passage.
