AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 06-90, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIA-
TIONS ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR
1990 TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLA-
TION OF STREET LIGHTING AT DUBLIN
VILLAGE CENTER AND DUBLIN CITY
CENTER
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary, amendments to the
Appropriations Ordinance in order that appropriations are not overexpended;
and,
WHEREAS, Council has previously approved an amount of $150,000 for street
lighting at Dublin Villager Center; and,
WHEREAS, the developers of Dublin Village Center and Dublin City Center may
have been or will be asked to contribute towards the installation of street
lighting within their projects; and
WHEREAS, an agreement attached hereto as "Exhibit A" provides for the City
of Dublin to be reimbursed by Drexel Development Corporation in the amount
of $98,700; and,
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to appropriate additional funds to provide
for the construction and payment of the entire project and allow Drexel
Development Corporation and State Savings Bank to reimburse the City of
Dublin for approximately half of the total project cost.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an
agreement with Drexel Development Corporation and State Savings Bank to
provide for the reimbursement of a portion of the installation of street
lighting at Dublin Village Center.
Section 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in
the Capital Improvement Tax Fund the sum of $156,600 to account
DI0-07-7A-250L for the purpose of installing street lighting at Dublin
Village Center.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
