AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 921
OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF DUBLIN, ENTITLED SEWER
REGULATIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin discharges its sewage, treated industrial
waste, water and other liquid waste into the transportation, pumping
and treatment system of the City of Columbus; and,
WHEREAS, the Federal and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency are requiring
the City of Columbus, as a Permitted Operator of the Columbus Waste Water
Treatment Facilities to be able to fully enforce the provisions of
Columbus City Code Chapter 1145 throughout the Columbus sewer system and
tributary area, which includes the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin's contract with the City of Columbus also
requires that the provisions of Columbus City Code Chapter 1145 shall
apply to premises within the City of Dublin which are tributary to the
Columbus sewer system to the same extent that these provisions apply
to premises in the City of Columbus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council for the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring that:

Section 1. Chapter 921 of the Dublin Codified Ordinances is hereby amended
to include the following provisions:
921.08 APPLICATION, ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCE-
MENT OF COLUMBUS SEWER USAGE ORDINANCES
(a) So long as the City of Dublin discharges
its sewage, industrial waste, water and
other liquid waste into the transportation,
pumping and treatment system of the City
of Columbus, all of the provisions of
Chapter 1145 of the City of Columbus Code,
both as it now exists and as they are
hereinafter amended, related to the
regulation of sewage use are hereby
adopted by reference and made applicable
within the City of Dublin.
(b) The officers and employees of the City of
Columbus are hereby empowered to enforce
the provisions of Chapter 1145 of the
Columbus City Code, both as it now exists
and as it is hereinafter amended, within
the boundaries of the City of Dublin.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the
earliest time provided by law.
