AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE
LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE
AVERY ROAD PARK ATHLETIC
FIELD LIGHTING PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAID
PROJECT, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, after advertising, receiving bids and opening said bids on
June 28, 1990, for the Avery Road Park Athletic Field Lighting Project; and
WHEREAS~ Council has determined that the lowest and best bid for said
project is from Chandler Electric~ Inc. in the amount of $119~300.00;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid from Chandler Electric Inc. in the amount of
$119~300.00 be, and hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager and Finance Director be, and hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute a contract with Chandler Electric Inc.
for completion of said project pursuant to the bid specifications and
documents on file in the Offices of the Director of Parks and Recreation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.

RE: Bid Award for Avery Road Park Lighting Project
On Thursday, June 28, 1990 at 10:00 a.m. Bids were opened for the Avery
Road Park Lighting Project. Two complete bids were submitted. The estimated
costs of this project was $120,000.00, Chandler Electric, Inc. of Ashland,
Ohio had the low bid of $119,300.00. We are recommending the acceptance of
this bid.
The other bid was MUSCO at $125,000.00
