Form No. 30043 -------- Ordinance No. . 02-91 Passed 19 ~C I I AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE I LOWEST/BEST BID FOR THE AVERY ROAD WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM, AND DECLARING AN I EMERGENCY I I I I I I WHEREAS, after advertising, receiving and opening bids for the Avery ROad[ Waste Disposal System; and WHEREAS, Council has determined that the lowest and best bid for said I I project is from Tuffeo Ine. in the amount of $15~990.00. I I I NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~of the elected members concurring: Section 1. That the bid from Tuffeo Ine. in the amount of $15,990.00 be, and hereby is, accepted. Section 2. That the City Manager and Finance Director be, and hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with Tuffeo Inc. for completion of said project pursuant to the bid specifications and documents on file in the office of the Director of Parks and Recreation. I Section 3. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT TAX FUND, the sum of $15,990.00 to account I D10-07-7A-250F. I Section 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure for the preservation of the public peace, health or welfare of the residents of this City and for the further reason that this Ordinance is required to be immediately effective to provide for the construction of the improvement, and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. Three bids were received and opened on December 19, 1990 on the orement1oned project. The lowest bid tor the project was from Tuttco, Inc. the amount ot $15,990.00. This project 1S a part of the City's commitment to cooperate with Dublin Soccer League in constructing a restroom, concession and storage facility at Avery Road Park, The City's total responsibility on this project was to provide construction materials and utilities, water, electric and waste disposal. This project is an approved Cap1tal project trom 1990. Estimate $18,500.00. 1. Tuftco, Inc. $15,990.00 2. Downing 17,630.00 3. Righter Company 19,924.00
